I bought this set to use in making wire wrapped jewelry. It works great on copper wire and leaves a really nice finish. I tested the anvil with a larger hammer (8 oz.) and the rubber base held it steady. Really pleased with this.

It did what it was suppose to do

I was most interested in the block and rubber base. The metal block is smooth, flat and heavy. It separates from the rubber base easily yet still fits snug when together. The hammer is a child’s toy. Extremely light weight and not suitable for any real use. The gold foil arrived flaking off from the head of the hammer and it was loosely attached to the handle. Perfect for jewelry making or any small projects. They don't use up room on my project table because I can put them away till I need them.

Very nice and economical large dapping block. I’m trying to teach myself to make small copper bowls. The learning curve is pretty quick when using this dapping block.

We got two for our shop where we do silversmithing workshops. These get used daily by us and our customers. We’ve had them about 3 weeks now and no complaints. The motors bog down a little just like any other buffing wheel I’ve used but we are happy with them so far. The only thing I’d change is for the clear visor guard to be setup better.
